CREATIVE TEAM
TRUFFLES MYSTERY was dreamed up one summer day in 2014, and this little "pungent" idea-that-could sunk it's teeth deep into the event halls, yoga studios, cabarets and dark bars of New York City, only to NEVER LET US GO! After years of pushing, our once "small show" was now running in the "big" high-end night clubs, jazz clubs and speak-easy's of the city, and in 2018 the tides turned for us. The pricey and decadent truffles suddenly became easier to come by, the Fortune 500 companies started calling, and the name brands of the world all wanted a seat at the "Donati Truffle Gala and Auction!" It was then we knew we were on to something special.
After being imagined and created by Sonia Carrion, (producer, playwright and song-writer)....little did she know that 4 months of development, pre-production, working with writers and musicians (and eating a LOT of truffles)...would lead to a journey that would span almost 6 years and a partnership with one of the most prestigious truffle companies in the world, URBANI. From the beginning, the company has been met with so many tough trials and tribulations, intense changes, venue moves and all of the regular ups and downs of running a small business in NYC (and then some)...but we owe it all to the team that stayed with us through thick and thin, never lost hope, and always kept on delivering a "killer" murder mystery on stage every night. From the amazing cast, to the talented musicians, and right down to all of our staff and team behind the scenes....it has been a wild journey and we are optimistic that there is more to come. We are very hopeful for the future and for what will eventually emerge as a new wave of live entertainment in NYC and beyond. Prayers to all that are in the arts, travel, dining, sports and live entertainment field, as it takes multiple villages to do what we do...and we will all get through to the other side.

SONIA CARRION
From a little idea in her head, to a full vision on stage with a 3 course dinner, a classic murder mystery plot, and all of the trimmings of a slap-stick musical comedy, Sonia has taken the years of hard work and molded it into a new script in which she wrote the new book for in 2020. She is also a contributing song-writer to the new show, and looks forward to beginning the licensing options, as well as the launch of the "At Home" Mystery Board Game!

HAL GALARDI
Uber talented multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, Hal dedicated years to getting this show off the ground logistically with Sonia Carrion, while also contributing to the script and writing additional songs for the show, including the ever popular, show-stopper "Bruno's Lament!" Hal is continuing his work in live production and television with NBC and SNY- Sports TV.

Amazingly talented songwriter and artist who crafted the sound and feel of the music on stage, and gave us the amazing "Ratatat" and "Newness is Nice" which are sure to be loved for years to come.

So much love to our ghostwriter playwright who took the ideas, story and concepts from Sonia Carrion, and brough her characters and scenes to life, giving us the first draft of Truffles Mystery, all the way back in 2014.

An up-and-coming writer in NYC, who brought new comedy, jokes, and a different vision for the show was added to the team for a trial run, and in doing so he also offered his support with Production and Stage Management for each show.

GREGG OSTRIN
A writer that spans works for stage, television and film, Gregg joined the production to bring a completely new twist to our classic story- and what a tale he told! After writing for shows like "Xena Warrior Princess," and selling several feature scripts to major studios, his film "The Garden of Eden" is now in development with Disney, and we were so lucky to get the chance to delve into our characters with him with the completely new script he brought to life.

A singer, songwriter, actress and artistic director Cassie's unique brand of Cirque/Burlesque Shows has played in various venues across NYC, and we have had the pleasure of knowing and working with her for years.
